==Special Representative for Afghan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad said on Twitter that the two sides had agreed on a “tripartite agreement codifying rules and procedures for their negotiations on a political roadmap and a comprehensive ceasefire.” Some Afghan officials have called on Biden to conduct a comprehensive review of the peace process, while Taliban officials have called on the new president to continue to abide by the agreement. While the talks are due to enter the next phase, Taliban and Afghan negotiators have not yet decided what the topics on the agenda are and in what order they will be addressed.
